How to Make Subtitles

In an effort to make iBioSeminars and iBioMagazine movies available to more students and scientists around the world, we would like to add subtitles in English and other languages to as many talks as possible. A first set of 27 iBioMagazine movies were subtitled and translated in a wonderful grass-roots effort led by graduate students and post-doctoral fellows at UCSF and Yale. They have developed fairly simple protocols that can be used by others to make subtitles:

Please see the tutorials on how to make a subtitled movie and how to make a translated movie.

If you would like to contribute by subtitling a talk or a series of talks in English or other languages, please contact us before you start (so that there is no duplication of effort). We welcome your contributions and will post your subtitled movie on our iBioSeminars or iBioMagazine sites.
